How it works
We begin with a discussion of what you'd like to include in your video biography. Every project is unique, just like we as people are. Some folks may have clips from home movies they'd like to include, or documents. Most people have photos to record, but how many photos varies. After I determine what elements you'd like to include, I'll give you a quote on the cost of the project and a timetable for production and completion.
Then comes the interview. This usually takes from one to two hours. I come right to your home with lights, microphones and a video camera. I have an extensive list of questions I draw from to elicit your story.
After the interview, I record your photos while you narrate. This may be done the same day as the interview, or at another scheduled time.
Editing comes next. I digitize the footage into my computer, touch-up photos and add titles. Then I make a copy for you to review. Upon your approval, I make copies in VHS or DVD formats for your family and friends.
